This unit is designed to work in conjunction with the factory harness, it will increase RPM by 1000 and switch off all unnecessary sensors.
Please note that the new 2009 model harness and ECU maybe used with the 2008 bikes. 2009 ECU can be purchased with TRACS software which will allow the programming of the ECU to include switchable wet/dry maps + much more.
It should be noted that you require the kit harness to operate the kit ECU.
