This weekend Rob Guiver returns to Brands Hatch with the Ace Cafe T3 Racing team for Round 6. As it’s Guiver’s local round and the team are based only a few miles down the road from the circuit, it’s important for both parties that they do well here.
This is the second time the Ace Cafe T3 Racing team have raced at Brands Hatch this season so they are looking forward to racing a circuit they are familiar with. Guiver is feeling positive about the circuit as he has always done well there in previous championships.
After last round’s success they are aiming to continue to improve. At Snetterton Guiver came 16th overall in Race 2 and also came 1st in the Cup class.
Tony Scott, Team Principal, commented: “This weekend will see us make some changes to the bike regarding front suspension. At Snetterton we made some changes to improve the bikes mid range power but Rob found them difficult to ride with, so for Brands we’re going back to the original spec.
“Interestingly despite the lack of results compared to what we know the bike and Rob can achieve, we are still second in the Championship and only twenty points off the leader, there is still much to play for.”
The team are also upping their game with hospitality this round. So far this season the Ace Cafe food deal has been extremely popular in the paddock. They have now incorporated a day or weekend paddock pass into the deal. For more information or to book follow this link.
